Ahhh..

It's raining finally. It's been in the triple digits here lately and it's so nice to get a reprieve. It was 99 today and 107 on Thursday. Shit. So it rained this evening and it's so nice outside now.

Went and saw Charlie and the Chocolate Factory today. I liked it but I almost like Gene Wilder as Willy Wonka better. Obviously, no matter how you make this movie it is going to be weird. It was pretty weird. But it was good. I liked it. Johnny Depp is good at playing that bizarre character, although I must say I preferred him in Pirates of the Caribbean.

I want to see several movies coming up. I even want to see Pride & Prejudice. I think it looks good and I really liked Sense & Sensibility..even if it took me like three days to watch the whole thing.

Most of all, I am really chomping at the bit to buy some books. I haven't bought the Harry Potter book. I'm probably one of the only ones in the US that hasn't. But I do intend on getting it sometime. But I can't wait for Robert Jordan, Christopher Paolini, and George R. R. Martin to come out with their most recent books. I also have several others that are out I want to buy that are part of an Arthur series. I've only read "The Winter King" so far. The guy's name is Bernard Cornwell.
